Welcome to StorySeeds — a creative storytelling app owned and operated by Jacob Wikingellis (“we,” “our,” or “us”).

By using the StorySeeds app (“the App”), you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully. If you’re a parent or guardian, you agree to these terms on behalf of your child.

1. About StorySeeds

StorySeeds turns everyday discoveries into imaginative stories for children. Parents and guardians create accounts, upload photos, and manage child profiles.

StorySeeds is designed for children ages 1–10 and follows strong privacy and safety principles — no ads, no social media, and no open communication features.

2. Who May Use the App

• The app is intended for parents, guardians, and their children under parental supervision.

• Parents must be at least 18 years old to create an account and manage subscriptions.

• Children may use the app only under a parent or guardian’s supervision.

• By creating an account, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are the parent or legal guardian of any child profile you create.

3. Parental Accounts and Child Profiles

• Parents create and manage all child profiles.

• Children cannot create or access accounts independently.

• Each child profile is limited to basic information (nickname and age) to protect privacy.

• Parents may review or delete any data associated with their family account at any time.

Deleting your account permanently removes all related data, including stories, photos, and saved progress.

4. Subscription and Payments

StorySeeds is a subscription-based app with the following options:

• $4 per month or $40 per year

• Managed through Apple App Store or Google Play billing systems

By subscribing, you agree that:

• Your subscription renews automatically unless canceled through your app store account before the renewal date.

• Fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.

• StorySeeds does not store or process credit card information directly — all payments are handled securely through Apple or Google.

We reserve the right to adjust pricing or subscription terms in the future, but any changes will be communicated clearly before renewal.

5. Ownership and Intellectual Property

• All content, features, and materials in the app (including story templates, art, and code) are the property of Jacob Wikingellis or his licensors.

• You may use the app and its generated content only for personal, non-commercial purposes.

• You retain rights to your family’s created stories, drawings, and creative content.

By using StorySeeds, you grant us a limited right to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of operating the app.

6. Content Safety and Guidelines

StorySeeds automatically filters and moderates generated stories to ensure they are:

• Age-appropriate

• Wholesome and non-violent

• Inclusive and imaginative

Users must not upload or input any content that is illegal, explicit, or harmful. Violations may result in account suspension or termination.

7. Voice and Audio Features

StorySeeds uses preset, friendly narrator voices through Google Cloud Text-to-Speech.

• The app does not record, store, or clone voices.

• All generated audio files are stored locally on your device.

8. Data Privacy

Your privacy and your child’s safety are our top priorities.

• Personal data is handled according to our Privacy Policy (which you should read alongside these Terms).

• Data is stored securely through Supabase and processed by Google Cloud services for narration and object recognition.

• No data is sold, rented, or used for advertising.

By using the app, you consent to the collection and processing of limited data as described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Account Termination and Deletion

You may delete your account at any time through the app or by contacting support@lovewildrivers.com.

• When deleted, all data (including stories, photos, and profiles) are permanently erased.

• We may terminate or suspend accounts that violate these Terms or misuse the service.

 

10. Service Availability

StorySeeds aims to provide a reliable, creative experience, but:

• We cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation at all times.

• Some features may require an active internet connection.

• We may update or modify the app periodically to improve functionality or add features.

We are not responsible for losses or damages resulting from temporary downtime or maintenance.

 

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• StorySeeds, Jacob Wikingellis, and any partners are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

• Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for your subscription during the previous 12 months.

Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under consumer protection laws.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of StorySeeds will be handled in the courts of Wyoming, unless another jurisdiction is required by applicable law.

13. Updates to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect new features or legal requirements.

• Updated Terms will be posted in the app and on our website.

• The “Last Updated” date at the top shows when the latest version took effect.

• Continued use of the app means you accept the new terms.
