PROBLEM

The name Pretty Good Advice began with a simple joke: why pay for professional advice when sometimes all you really want is pretty good advice?

That idea eventually became the personality behind a successful Bay Area restaurant brand. But there was always an opportunity to take the joke beyond the restaurant itself and create a digital experience customers could interact with while they waited for their food.

SOLUTION

We turned the restaurant's personality into an app.

Pretty Good Advice lets customers choose a subject they need help with and receive the kind of sarcastic, unexpectedly useful advice they probably weren't expecting and may not have wanted to hear.

The experience is intentionally simple, entertaining, and easy to pick up while waiting for a meal. More importantly, it extends the restaurant's distinctive sense of humor beyond the physical location and turns a memorable brand story into something customers can actually interact with.
